Ms. Margaret

Ms. Margaret is our energetic Preschool Director.  She has been coaching for 32 years and in gymnastics for 38 years.  Ms. Margaret began coaching at 16 and competed at Southeast Missouri State.  Her favorite event is floor since she still enjoys tumbling.  She has a BS in Physical Education from Southeast Missouri State.  She wants to instill in her gymnasts to enjoy exercising and to stay healthy.  She believes that gymnastics builds self confidence.  Ms. Margaret has 11 brothers and sisters and 2 children.

Julie Ignacz

Coach Julie coaches our developmental girls.  She has been coaching for about 10 years.  Her favorite event as a gymnast was vault and as a coach it is beam.  Julie has a BA in Bilingual Elementary Education & Linguistically Diverse. She has an MA in Special Education and is working on an EdS in Education Leadership.  Lessons that she has learned and would like to pass on to her students are body awareness, mental and psychological strength, persistence, dedication, balance, flexibility & physical strength and goal setting.  She believes that gymnastics helps to build a connection to students and helps her to instill inner and physical strength in her students.  Julie has coached gymnastics in 3 different states - Colorado, Washington and North Carolina.

Alyssa Richie

Coach Alyssa coaches our developmental girls, preschool, preteam,and competitive girls team.  She has been coaching for 6 years.  Her favorite events are floor and vault.  She has a BA in Criminal Justice and a MA in Criminal Justice with a concentration in domestic violence.  Her goals for her students are to learn life long skills, how to get along, gain confidence and how to be part of a team.  Alyssa has a passion for gymnastics and working with kids.  She loves to see the smiles on their faces and their excitement when they get a new skill.  She has twin brothers and just bought her first house and puppy.

Christina Ritz

Christina is our dance instructor for the competitive girls team.  She was a dance student for 20 years and has been teaching for 11 years.  She was on the 2006-07 Denver Nuggets Dancers and currently coaches EHS JV Poms.  She would like for her students to never stop trying and to always have fun with what they are doing.  She believes that dance has shaped her into what she is today.  Christina is a Harry Potter nerd!

Coty Walker

Coty coaches tumbling and the competitive boys team and has been coaching for 8 years.  He is a former Level 8 gymnast.  His favorite event is pommel horse.  Coty has an Associates Degree in film making.  He would like for his students to learn persistence so that they become stronger as life throws them challenges.  He believes that gymnastics keeps him fit, relaxes him and gives him the opportunity to impact young lives.  Coty is a twin as well as an actor.

Junior Coaches

Esther Geltser

Esther coaches developmental girls and has been in gymnastics for 13 years and has spent 3 years as a coach.  Her favorite event is beam.  She is currently a junior in high school.  Esther would like for her girls to learn what a tight body is and everything that she has learned from gymnastics.  She believes that gymnastics prepares you for any sport that you would like to try.  Esther is fluent in 4 different languages.

Aries Gonzalez

Aries coaches preschool and beginner girls.  She began gymnastics at age 11 and was a Level 6 competitive gymnast.  Her favorite event is floor.  Aries is a senior in high school and has her CNA and is working on her LPN.  She has learned that you need to keep trying if you don't succeed the first time.  Aries just loves gymnastics.  She is studying to be a first responder.

Candace Reavis

Candace is one of our preschool coaches.  She started gymnastics at 18 months and competed as a Level 7/8 competitive gymnast.  She also participates in high school volleyball.  Her favorite events are vault and bars.  She is a junior in high school.  Some things that Candace has learned from gymnastics are how to make friends, be kind and how to help one another.  Gymnastics is important to her as it is fun and she has developed some great relationships with other gymnasts.  Candace loves dolphins and has a dog named Buster.

Sofia Simina

Sofia coaches developmental girls.  She competed as a Level 6 gymnast for ASG and has been coaching for 3 years.  Her favorite events are floor and bars.  She is currently a senior in high school.  Gymnastics has brought Sofia a sense of responsibility and commitment for everything that she participates in.  She is a leader and wants to inspire her gymnasts to do the same.  Sofia believes that gymnastics is great for mental development as well as physical ability.  She is learning her 3rd language and is planning to speak it fluently.

Noah Tully

Noah coaches developmental boys and our Level 4 competitive boys team.  He is a former Level 8 gymnast and has been coaching for 2 years.  His favorite event is Pommel Horse and he is a junior at Grandview High School.  Noah would like to pass on his love and passion for gymnastics as well as leadership and responsibility.  Gymnastics has helped to define Noah as a person in the areas of responsibility and leadership.  Noah would like to be a pilot in the United States military.
